Farmhouse Spring Décor Ideas

With spring officially here, I love incorporating fun colors into my farmhouse spring décor ideas. Creating a farmhouse tablescape for spring means fun dinner parties are just around the corner.

Farmhouse Spring Table Décor

This gorgeous spring farmhouse tablescape is like a table full of sunshine! In case you didn’t know, my amazing husband built my farmhouse table. You can check out how he did this from my DIY Farmhouse Dining Table post.

Our farmhouse table is such a staple in our home, I love to decorate it for the holidays, the different seasons, or just because. One of my favorite places to pick up farmhouse spring décor ideas for our dining room is at HomeGoods. If you’ve read my Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape post, you know I snagged the place setting décor at HomeGoods.

Goods from HomeGoods

I made a quick stop at HomeGoods and found some beautiful cloth yellow napkins, the extremely popular Braided Water Hyacinth Placemats, and gorgeous water glasses.

These placemats are so versatile they will pair with just about any type of table décor. Whatever colors you incorporate will pop, since they are neutral in color. You can find some similar to mine here: Water Hyacinth Placemats.

The yellow napkins are perfect to go along with my Daisy dishes, look crazy fun with their fringe edges, and should be at the top of your farmhouse spring décor ideas shopping list! They are great quality, super soft, and honestly, just perfect for this spring farmhouse tablescape. Cloth napkins should be a must for any dinner party. They look amazing and just feel so much better than wiping your hands on a paper napkin. You can find similar napkins to mine here: Cloth Dinner Napkins.

A gorgeous table needs gorgeous water glasses. They are heavy duty and look high-end, yet they were extremely budget friendly. When I go to someone’s house for dinner, I love a delicious cocktail or a great glass of wine, but I also like to drink water so I can stay hydrated. These glasses would be fun to add a slice of lemon to and keep with the yellow theme of the table. These are the glasses I picked up at HomeGoods (but mine were a fraction of the cost): Basic 20 oz water glasses.

Linen Cocktail Napkins

One of my favorite additions to the table are the linen cocktail napkins the water glasses are sitting on. These are handmade in the USA from reclaimed, up-cycled fabric. Talk about a sustainable option to showcase your beverage of choice. These linen cocktail napkins are from the one and only Living in Normal Shop! The fabric is durable, will withstand a lot of wear, and wash beautifully.

Gorgeous Silver Flatware

I am a sucker for old silver flatware and love to pick up pieces at estate sales, flea markets, yard sales, or Third Sunday Market. I absolutely love the history of these gorgeous pieces. It’s too bad they can’t tell us about the dinner parties they’ve seen in their time.

I think old pieces of silver flatware should be at the top of your farmhouse spring décor ideas list. When having a dinner party, silver flatware just gives your table décor an extra special touch. It’s a small detail, but I think it makes a big difference in the look of the table. I also think it gives that farmhouse feeling when old silver flatware is sitting at each place setting.

Flowers for your Table

If you don’t have a lot of center pieces for your farmhouse tablecape, you can never go wrong with a pitcher of bright spring flowers. Sometimes I love to add more to my table décor, but if there is too much down the center of the table, it’s difficult to have conversations with the person sitting across from you. My secret to an inexpensive flower bouquet, I pick them up at Sam’s or Costco. You can get a huge bundle of flowers for a fraction of what it would cost at a flower shop. Then, just pop them in whatever vase or pitcher you have. How easy is that!?

    Ok, two questions:
    1. Where are your chairs from? They are gorgeous!
    2. Your husband did an amazing job on your table, it’s beautiful. Do you find that crumbs get stuck in between the planks on the tabletop? I’ve wanted to build one like this for a while but I worry it will be hard to keep clean with little kids. ?

      Hi Jess!!
The chairs came from World Market. They are pretty inexpensive compared to others I have found. And with the crumbs…there is a small gap between the planks, so the crumbs end up on the floor!!! A sweet dog or a Swiffer will take care of that! Haha!

      Molly
