If you need a last minute easy Halloween treat, these adorable Halloween cupcakes are the perfect solution!

LAST MINUTE HALLOWEEN TREATS

Thanks to HomeGoods and Pillsbury, I threw together some easy Halloween treats in a snap! While perusing the shelves at HomeGoods, I found these frightful skull plates, pumpkin napkins, and crazy cute cupcake toppers.

EASY CUPCAKE DECORATING

But my greatest find…Pillsbury icing in a bag! Woohoo!! If you have been following my blog, you know I like to decorate cakes. I also like to make my cake and frosting from scratch. However, sometimes life just gets busy. So, I decided to buy a Pillsbury cake mix for the Halloween cupcakes. When I was trying to decide which cake flavor, I came across frosting in a bag with a decorator tip attached. I was seriously ecstatic!

The Pillsbury frosting bag was super simple to use. Just tear off the plastic end piece and it’s ready to go. The back of the box gives several suggestions on ways to decorate cupcakes if you aren’t quite sure how to use the tip.

I was able to whip up a batch of Halloween cupcakes in no time. The bonus—very little mess in my kitchen. The only caution I would give is to buy extra frosting! We love a lot of frosting on our cupcakes, so I used about one and a half bags for a dozen cupcakes. It isn’t necessary to get that crazy with the frosting, it’s just that we like a lot!

These Halloween treats were so easy to make, it could be done the night of Halloween before the Trick-or-Treaters arrive. Really, they were so easy. Not to mention, they were absolutely delicious!!

Don’t fret because a fun Halloween treat can be whipped up in a scary second!

xoxo,
Molly
