Have you heard of a jarcuterie? If not, it’s a fun and trendy twist on the traditional charcuterie board that is full of meat, cheese, fruit, and so much more. They are essentially little individual charcuterie cups.
It seems like every time I scroll through Instagram or Facebook, I see gorgeous charcuterie boards laid out with tons of meat, cheese, and fruit on a decorative wooden board. With all of the uncertainty of COVID still looming about, I personally don’t want to graze off the same board as other people. If you were thinking the same thing, I have the perfect solution, because I’m sharing an individualized charcuterie cup called a jarcuterie.

What is a jarcuterie?
A jarcuterie is a small individualized charcuterie cup portioned into a small jar. These popular charcuterie options would be perfect to serve at your next get-together. Your guests will love this personalized jar to carry around and snack on. They can be filled with nuts, chocolate, dried or fresh fruit, salami, olives, cheese, crackers, or anything you want to add.
How I made my individual charcuterie cups
I began layering mine with nuts and chocolate in the very bottom of the jar. Next, I added some bite-sized pieces of cheese and dried salami. I skewered fresh salami and olives onto fancy picks, and added those. Cheese slices and breadsticks were layered into the back of the jar to show height. Lastly, I topped them off with some fresh fruit. I used grapes and raspberries, but you can use blueberries, strawberries, or even dried fruit.
Displaying your individual charcuterie cups
The best thing about these individualized charcuterie cups is that you can display them in so many ways. You can have various trays in various locations so your guests can pick them up as they are mingling at your party. My personal favorite is to put the jars on an actual charcuterie board, because I feel like it helps display the charcuterie cups in a more traditional style.
Have fun putting your charcuterie cups together, because you can add anything you want. Be creative and think of options your guests will love. These individual charcuterie cups are perfect to serve out an Outdoor Party. If you love non-traditional charcuteries, you might also love my DIY Individual Charcuterie Box.

This is such a cute idea. I love the idea of everyone grabbing their own little jar and not touching “all of the things”. Super cute way to display.

Oh my gosh, I just love this for so many reasons. First of all, I love charcuterie boards, but I feel like a pig always reaching over and grabbing what I want. This is a perfect size, and it makes it so easy to handle. Thank you for this.
