Clinique Makeup Review: I am reviewing all of the makeup and skin care products I received from Clinique as a “thank you” for my Clinique Makeover Blog Post.

I received a surprise gift from Clinique full of skin care products and makeup after I posted a story about a Clinique Makeover Party on the blog. I shared the unboxing of the Clinique products in the Clinique Makeup Unboxing Video blog post, so I could share the experience with all of you. If you missed it, you can check it out here. As promised, I am now sharing my reviews of each product.
I LOVE all of these products and will continue to use each and every one of them! My skin is extremely dry, but most of these products are for all skin types and leave my face feeling amazing. I had not used any of these products prior to receiving them, but I am definitely sold on Clinique!

Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser
This cleanser is so creamy and gentle on my skin–I use it every day. At night, I use the Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm to remove my makeup and then wash with the foaming cleanser. The Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser is like a creamy mousse and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. It can be used by itself to take off makeup, and when I’m in a rush it’s all I use. This cleanser is for dry combination and combination oily skin types.
Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for Eyes and Lips
This product is amazing! It removes mascara in a flash—it just wipes right off. I am very conscious about “crow’s feet” around my eyes, so I prefer not to scrub very hard to get my mascara off. The Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for eyes and lips is so gentle there is no scrubbing. I use a cotton ball, put a little of the makeup remover on it, gently rub across my eyes and–TADA! It’s almost like magic the way it wipes right off. It also works great to remove lipstick.
Charcoal Clay Mask + Scrub
This product and the Custom-Repair Serum are probably my favorite products! The Charcoal Clay Mask is honestly something I would have never really thought to buy, but after using it for a while I can’t live without it. This mask makes my skin feel tight yet smooth and soft all at the same time. I also feel like my skin has a glow to it after I have used it, maybe because it is such a deep clean. The charcoal helps remove impurities, and the mask also has silica beads that help exfoliate when you wash it off. This is now a must-have beauty product for me.
Custom-Repair Serum
This product is definitely a favorite. I have been using it for a few months now and I can tell a difference in how my skin looks. My fine lines are not as prominent, I feel like my skin tone is more even, and I have noticed dark spots fading. I also love the feel of the serum—it’s not heavy and makes my skin feel silky. I could rave about this product all…day…long! If you decide to only try one product, I would highly recommend the Custom-Repair Serum. And personally, I don’t think it matters what age you are—you can never start too soon using good skin care products. A bonus with the serum—it’s for all skin types!
Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
I know I sound like a broken record, but this product is also amazing. I truly meant what I said in the beginning—I am loving ALL of these products. The Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief is for all skin types and moisturizes skin without feeling oily. It’s almost like it soothes the skin and feels like a combination of a gel and cream. If I had a sunburn, I would want to lather myself up in this Moisture Surge (although I do not recommend going out in the sun without sunscreen!).
Quickliner–Intense Chocolate Eyeliner
This is another product I use every day, and each time I put it on I think to myself, “I can’t wait to tell my followers about this cool eyeliner!” Why do I think it is so cool—well for starters it is super smooth and creamy and glides on the eyelid without any issues. But what is even better, it NEVER has to be sharpened. I have to admit, it took me a little while to figure out how to use it and embrace it, but now I wouldn’t use any other eyeliner. It also has a smudge tip on the end to help soften the eyeliner after it has been applied.
Sculptionary™ Cheek Contouring Palette
This blush is SO MUCH FUN! I love the versatility of the palette which allows me to contour or just blend them together as one color. When contouring, I put the lightest color on the top of my cheek bone—as a highlighter. I put only a little of the darkest color at the bottom of my cheek bone. Last, I blend the mid-tone shade in between. When I’m in a rush, I just take my blush brush and swirl it over all three colors and then apply to my cheeks. The palette of three colors is nice because I can easily layer the colors the way I want.
Clinique’s Wink Pop Lacquer Lip Color
This lip lacquer is fantastic, and I wear it in many of my blog posts! It is thick, but lightweight, and stays on for a long time. It is not over the top glossy–just enough to give my lips a little shine with color. Also, it glides on easily so I can use it on the go without a mirror.
High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara
This mascara makes my lashes look so long and natural without clumping. Some mascaras are so thick and clumping, but not the High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara. It is not a waterproof mascara, but I found it hard to get off when I first started using it. I quickly discovered it was because I was only using soap and water. Once I started using Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for Eyes and Lips, it just melted away.
I seriously love ALL of the products Clinique sent me, plus some additional ones I’ve added to my beauty bag. When I first began wearing makeup at the age of 13, my mom took me to the Estée Lauder counter, which is the makeup I have worn most of my life. I know Estée Lauder and Clinique are sister companies, but I never really thought to branch out—even though my sister-in-law and mother-in-law wear Clinique. Now that I have been using these products, I will continue to buy them.
Let me know what some of your favorite Clinique products are.
xoxo,
Molly
