My Favorite Beauty Products – I love the opportunity to try new beauty products, but I do have some staples that are my go-to favorites.
If you read my blog about a Clinique Makeover Party, you know how much I love everything about beauty products. I especially love when companies offer free beauty products with a purchase, because I inevitably find a new favorite.
I want to share my current top favorites, and why I love each of them.
OPI Nail Infinite Shine 3
This topcoat is amazing! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pedicure every once in a while, but I don’t have the time to get them very often. The one thing I have always loved about a salon pedicure is that the polish stays on for a very long time and rarely chips. This OPI topcoat is just as good, if not better. My toes look shiny, the polish lasts for a long time and rarely chips.
R +Co Dry Shampoo Paste
This dry shampoo is really a very thick paste that I use on my hair every day for volume. Although it’s a dry shampoo, I wash my hair every day and still use it. The volume it gives my hair lasts all day. The jar will last a long time because it only takes a pea-size amount. You rub it between your fingers, and then massage it into the scalp where you want volume.
Quick Tan Self-Tanner
Self-tanners may not be your thing, but I have had skin cancer, so they are definitely MY thing. I have tried self-tanning salons and numerous lotions. The Quick Tan is by far my favorite. I have lots of sunspots and most of the products I have tried make the spots look orange. The Quick Tan does not do that and gives me what I believe is the most natural looking tan that I have found. Quick Tan has a spray, mousse and lotion. I use the spray about once a week and the lotion every other day to maintain the color I want.
Crest White Strips
There are a lot of teeth-whitening products available, but I have had amazing luck with Crest White Strips. I even get compliments at the dentist’s office about how pretty and white my teeth look. I buy it at Costco, because I feel like that is the best deal I have found. It comes with a box of 30-minute strips and a box of 1-hour strips. I use the 1-hour strips every once in a while, but to maintain the color I want, I use the 30-minutes strips.
Beautycounter Facial Oil
I know what you are thinking—oil on my face, no way! Originally I thought the same thing, but this facial oil is lightweight and moisturizing. I use this product every day, and I mix about two drops with my moisturizer in the mornings and evenings, then smooth all over my face. I love how soft it makes my skin feel without the oily residue. My skin is normally dry, which is why I add the drops to moisturizer, but this product is for all skin types.
Dior Show Maximizer 3D Lash Primer
This lash primer is truly amazing! It is lightweight, does not clump, and helps give lashes a boost for a longer, thicker appearance. Not only does it intensify your eyelashes, it also works as a conditioner. For me, it never smudges and looks as good at the end of the day as it does when I first apply it. I use this product every day with the Dior Show mascara.
Dior Show Mascara
I have tried many types of mascara, and so far, nothing holds up to Dior Show. Many of the ones I’ve tried flake-off, smudge, clump, and don’t last through the day. I’ve also experienced some types of mascara that made my eyelashes fall out. I absolutely love Dior Show, and I always use it with the Dior Show Maximizer 3D Lash Primer. This product does not disappoint.
What are some products you love? I am always open to trying new products!
